Steve possesses more than 35 years of experience leading specialty claims, underwriting and distribution operations. A graduate of Georgetown University Law School, Steve led the management and professional lines client advisory operations for two major U.S. brokers before co-founding BlueChip. Steve has successfully structured some of the largest and most complex management and professional liability insurance claim workouts.

Kyle joined BlueChip in 2018 as an Analyst and was promoted to an Underwriter in 2022. In addition, Kyle is responsible for various operational roles within BlueChip including Technology, Marketing and Distribution. Prior to joining BlueChip, he worked for a policy analytics and consulting group in Washington, D.C., where he contributed to the analysis and coverage of public M&A transactions. Kyle holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Maryland.

Jared joined BlueChip in the beginning of 2022 as an Underwriter. Prior to joining BlueChip, he spent 5 years with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP as an Associate in the Corporate group in Houston. Jared is a graduate of The University of Chicago Law School and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University. Jared is a veteran of the United States military, having served in the Marine Corps for 4 years.

Chris Opisso joined BlueChip Underwriting Services as Managing Director and Chief Underwriting Officer in July 2025 and was previously with BlueChip from November 2017 through March 2023. He is a highly accomplished R&W Underwriter and a recognized thought leader. In his new role, Chris will have underwriting responsibilities and will lead the continued development of the BlueChip team across both R&W and Tax Underwriting. Earlier in his career, Chris was an associate at Latham & Watkins and another law firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate matters, and major financing transactions. He served as editor-in-chief of the law review at St. John's University School of Law and earned his B.A. in Classics from Brown University. Additionally, Chris spent time as a Latin teacher at Delbarton School in Morristown, NJ.

Christine joined BlueChip in 2019 as Claims Counsel and an Underwriter. Prior to joining the company, Christine spent 5 years with Mound, Cotton, Wollan & Greengrass LLP. She is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Fordham University.

Brandon joined BlueChip in 2020 as an Analyst. Prior to joining BlueChip, he spent over 4 years at AIG as an Underwriter in the Financial Institution Practice. He has experience underwriting professional lines of insurance coverage including Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Liability, Employment Practices, and Cyber Liability. Brandon has a Bachelor’s in Business from Rutgers University.

Sean joined BlueChip in 2018 as an Analyst. He is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law where he served as a Senior Staff Member on the St. John’s Law Review as well as a Research and Teaching assistant. He is admitted to the New York State Bar. Sean graduated with a Bachelor’s in History from the University of Virginia.

Josh joined BlueChip in 2022 as an Analyst. Prior to joining BlueChip, he spent 5 years in the banking industry with Bank of America holding various positions. He was the recipient two years in a row of the Top 100 Performers in the Northeast for Bank of America. Josh has a Bachelor’s in Business from Rutgers University.

Nick joined BlueChip in 2019 as an Analyst. Prior to joining BlueChip, he spent 2 years in the financial services industry in sales with Lincoln Financial Group outside of Philadelphia. Nick has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Finance from Muhlenberg College where he served as Captain of the Football Team and Vice President of the Muhlenberg’s Investment Society.

Lauren joined BlueChip in 2018 as an intern and was later hired full time in 2021. Prior to joining the company full time, she spent time at a law firm in New York City as part of the property and casualty insurance coverage group. Lauren is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law and is admitted to the New York State Bar. She received her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Economics from Moravian College.

Chris joined BlueChip in 2021 as an Analyst after graduating from Rowan University with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. He is also responsible for operational projects for the company. Chris earned his degree in three years while working various internships in the political field.

Vishal joined BlueChip in 2024 as an Underwriter. He has over 6 years of accounting and tax experience having most recently worked as a Manager at Deloitte. He has experience with Federal tax credits and incentives related to research and development, sustainability, and renewable energy. Vishal is a graduate of Rutgers University receiving a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s in taxation. Vishal is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey.
